The Leviasynth Desktop is a new hybrid algorithmic synthesizer from ASM. Offering 16 voices with 8 oscillators per voice and a combination of analog and digital filters, the Leviasynth is truly a sound designer’s dream synthesizer. The multi-color touch screen and intuitive user interface make patch programming a breeze. The oscillators can be arranged in groups known as algorithms, which define how they affect each other. There are 144 preset algorithms available, and one additional algorithm can also be customized per patch. In addition, algorithm morph offers a nearly unlimited number of configurations for the oscillators. There are over 300 waveforms available for each oscillator, and 7 independent oscillator modes for maximum timbral diversity. The 3-track sequencer records both note and macro automation, and the arpeggiator features a new Entropy function for advanced realtime note manipulation. The 16 Polytouch® pads offer an unsurpassed playing experience, with polyphonic aftertouch and velocity sensitivity. Leviasynth is also MPE-compatible. Single mode allows for all 16 voices to be active per patch, and Multi mode allocates the voices into two parts of 8 voices each, where layers or splits are easily set up. The free ASM Patch Manager for Mac and PC enables easy firmware updating and patch management.
