The Triple Envelope Follower Model 230t generates three sets of control voltages and pulses derived from the amplitude of incoming signals. Each channel features adjustable sensitivity and decay time.
In sustain mode, the pulse output remains high for the duration of the envelope present at the CV output. In transient mode, pulses are triggered whenever the envelope crosses a defined threshold voltage.
The sensitivity control allows a wide range of input signals to be used without requiring preprocessing. While many users think of envelope followers primarily for processing external audio sources, the 230t is equally powerful when patched internally within the modular system—extracting envelopes from synthesized sounds and applying them to control other CV destinations.
