The module A-160-1 is a frequency divider for digital clock signals (English clock divider), in order to have in the system also lower frequencies (especially for the control of rhythmic processes). For example, the clock signal applied to the trigger input can come from an LFO, MIDI SYNC, or MIDI CV (Gate) interface. At the outputs are the divided clock signals (half clock frequency to 1/64 clock frequency) available. The low / high levels of the output signals are at 0V and approx. + 10V. The A-160 also has a reset input.
If this is a reset signal supplied, all outputs are set to zero and held at zero, as long as the level is high.In particular, the Clock Divider can also be used in conjunction with the Clock Sequencer A-161 to generate periodic switching sequences with a length of 1 to max. 8 to produce. The A-160-1 is also predestined for connection to the clock and reset outputs of the MIDI interface A-190.
