Dwyfor Tech Pas-Isel Eurorack Low Pass Filter Module

Pas-Isel (‘low-pass’ in the Welsh language) is a four-pole lowpass filter for Eurorack modular systems, with an architecture unlike any other and buckets of Celtic charm. Combining design elements from Buchla and Korg, this diode-based VCF uses highpass filters in op-amp negative feedback loops to generate its signature ‘wooly jumper’ -24dB lowpass response.

At lower input levels, Pas-Isel is clean, classy and Moog-esque, but turn up the gain and it starts brimming with a character all of its own as the filter core is driven into saturation. Equally at home on chorussy pads or on acid basslines with single VCOs, Pas-Isel has chunky knobs with plenty of clearance to maximise playability, making it great in live performance scenarios.
