For SNOWGLOBE, Sonaura draws inspiration from the artificial worlds of gaming, particularly their invisible boundaries and surreal aesthetics. He recalls the obsession of trying to push past those “clipping” edges in old driving and flying games, where physics warped and the mysterious, unreachable landscapes beckoned. These experiences shape the album’s ethereal, off-kilter tone.
At its core, SNOWGLOBE contemplates the fragility of our world—be it the sociopolitical structures around us or the confines of a simulated existence.
