M is a 5-way Polytip signal multiplier. It takes a single polyphonic audio, CV, or gate signal set and routes it to up to five multiple outputs. The module is completely passive and requires no power. Like all Polytip jacks on Tiptop Audio modules, the jacks on the M module are top-quality components made in Japan.
